Participation in the “Education of the New Ukraine” Conference (27.05.2025, Kyiv)

On 27 May 2025, Mychailo WYNNYCKYJ, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine and Member of the Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) team, took part in the large-scale national conference “Education of the New Ukraine”, which brought together educators, scholars, university leaders and policymakers.

The conference was opened by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, with further addresses by Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi, and First Deputy Minister Yevhen Kudriavets.

In his contribution, Mr WYNNYCKYJ underlined the role of higher education in shaping active and responsible citizens and emphasised the importance of investing both in infrastructure and in the leadership capacities of university managers to improve the competitiveness of Ukraine’s higher education system.
